An artist since childhood, Nancy paints outdoors on location with both oils and pastels.  With oils, her use of a painting knife gives light-catching texture and depth to her paintings. 

Her typical subjects are landscape and gardens in her Potomac, Bethesda and Rockville, MD area, scenes in Washington DC and along the C & O Canal, and seascapes of Maryland's Eastern Shore.

Her work has won over 200 awards including first place, popular choice, best-in-show, and the Grumbacher Award for best use of the oils medium.  Over 1,000 of her paintings are in collections both in the U. S. and abroad.

Nancy's art is exhibited in art shows and galleries, and in her annual show of recent work in December.
